General error with the app.
"Report an error" is one of the best ways to let developers know what doesn't work as intended and fix it right away.
In order for the report to be helpful, it must follow a set of rules. That will assure the data is structured, easy to understand and fast to validate.
First of all, you need to have an email linked to your device to be able to send us the data.
You will then open the App, go to configuration, tap on App Configuration, scroll until you find "Report an Error". Once you tap that button, a mail to our support mail will be generated with pre-filled data about your device.
At this point you only have to describe the error you encountered above the dashed line. The best way to describe the error is to write every step to find it ourselves, for example:
the app crashes when starting the tracker, when countdown is 3.
Here are the steps to reproduce it:
1. Open the app
2. Tap "Actions" button.
3. Tap "Record a track"
4. Tap "Start"
5. App crashes when timer is is 3.
Section 2: Error with the tracker
Due to the low accuracy of the GPS devices, some miss-calculations can happen. To help us figure out where this miss-calculations come from we need the log of the error. To provide us that, you will have to do the following:
To send us the log of the tracker, you will need to go to the app configuration (1st gif) but then tap on "About the data":
Once you get to this screen, tap on the "App version" button 10 times and a share option will appear. Tap on the mail option and a pre-made mail will appear. Once it does, add a comment about the error so we can look into it.
